EULOGY:

ALBERT LESLIE

GILLINGS,

JP

2006

It was with

great

sadness

that

the

Worshipful Company of

Firefighters

learned of

the

death,

on

the 1st August 2006, of our

Past Master & Assistant Clerk

Finance, Bertie Gillings.

Bertie,

a

founder of

the Company

and

a

Past Master, was much

loved

by

everyone.

He was

a

real

gentleman,

a

true

professional

and one who

devoted

his

entire

life

to others

in

so many ways.

For

the

last 15

years, Bertie was

almost

as well
