DIAMOND

JUBILEE RIVER

PAGEANT

The WCoFF held a reception on the members’

terrace at London County Hall to celebrate the

Queen's Diamond Jubilee and watch the Thames

river pageant pass by with over 1000 craft

including a special Fire and Rescue service flotilla.

Despite the rain, it was a wonderful day, with

jazz band and barbeque and great company,

including partners and family of the fire service

crew in the flotilla.

There were fire service representatives from

across the Commonwealth on many of the fire

boats. Many thanks go to the event organizers,

Viv Jones, Bryan Spearman and Terry Baldwin as

well as to the generosity of sponsors Gerda,

Baldwin Boxhall and Vimpex.

A 4 page picture spread of the reception and

pageant pictures is in the centre of the

newsletter.
