Common Hall 2017

Common Hall will be held at 3.30pm on Friday 7th July 2017 in The Great Hall of The Insurance Hall, Aldermanbury, City of London. This is the occasion when we bear witness to the sworn Declarations of the incoming Master and of the Wardens and we thank the outgoing Master.

Common Hall is also the occasion when Liverymen and Freemen can address questions to the Master, Wardens and Court.

Following Common Hall, the newly installed Master and Wardens, together with the Company, will process to St Mary-le-Bow, Cheapside, for a Service of Thanksgiving and Dedication. This will be conducted by The Company’s Honorary Chaplain, The Rev. George Bush. The Service commencing at 6.00pm, will be followed by a Reception in The Church, which will finish by 7.30pm.

There will be no cost to Liverymen, Freemen and their wife/partner to attend Common Hall as well as The Service of Thanksgiving and the Reception.Members are asked to make a donation in respect of other family members, friends and guests who accompany them, to contribute towards essential costs.
