Installation of our new Master

OnJuly 5th the Company held its Common Hall in St Vedast-alias-Foster. Prof. David Holt DSc (Med) was installed as the new Master.

At the same time our new Wardens advanced as follows: Andrew Phillips JP to Upper Warden, Peter Holland CBE, QFSM to Renter Warden and Nicole Hoffman PhD, CEng to Under Warden. Sandra Holt was Installed as Mistress Firefighter.

The Foundation Beadle of the Company, John Norris SBStJ, retired after 36 years’ service and Matt Stokes GIFirE was Installed to succeed him.

Following a Service of Rededication lunch was held at Pewterers’ Hall, at which Prof. Alderman Emma Edhem responded to the Toast – Our Guests.

We were also pleased to host Col. Jane Carey Harris, Master Nurse, and Lt. Jamie Nicholls RN from HMS Excellent. Our Founding Master, Gerald Clarkson CBE, OStJ, QFSM, paid a heart-felt tribute to the work of our Foundation Beadle.
