Lithium-ion Battery Fires

Our online presentation on the fire risks associated with lithium-ion batteries and techniques to counter them was very well attended. The talk was part of the series promoted by the Lord Mayor of London – Knowledge Miles, Connect to Prosper.

Our speaker was Phil Clerk, the National Fire Chief Council lead on Emerging Energy Technologies. His talk was a timely reminder of public safety issues associated with these devices, and also raised many unresolved issues that were of interest to our diverse audience of safety professionals and members of the public.
