City Dinner 2017
The Certificate of Achievment was awarded to Community Fire Cadet Purusotha Thuraisingam-Thambiayah by LFB CFO Danny Cotton and John Mansfield (Master WCoFF)
The Worshipful Company of Firefighters proudly presented their annual Black-Tie City Dinner, hosted by XL Catlin, in support of Fire related Youth Training, Education and Support schemes.
For over 28 years, initially as a City Guild and then as a Company Without Livery through to becoming a full Livery Company in 2001, the Worshipful Company of Firefighters continues to be a progressive and supportive charitable organisation and a leading modern day City Livery Company. In 2015 we were awarded a Royal Charter.
Following on from the success of our 2016 dinner where we raised over £24,000 for youth causes, the focus of our 2017 City Dinner will again be on the work undertaken by The Burns Camp and their work with supporting young burns survivors.
A number of photographs were taken during the evening and these can be seen on our Flickr account
