Biggleswade Community Fire Station Open Day (16 Sept)

Local Firefighters are throwing open the doors of Bigglesawde Community Fire Station for their ‘Open Day’ on Saturday 16 September between 10am – 2pm and are inviting everyone from their local community to come along and see their appliances and learn about fire safety.

Firefighters are organising an afternoon of fun and discovery for the whole family. 

There will also be many other attractions, including:

  • A road traffic collision demonstration
  • Aerial platform demonstration
  • Children’s games and activities
  • Colouring competition
  • Raffle
  • Fire and road safety advice
  • Special Fire Bike
  • Face Painting
  • Cake Stall

The ‘Open Day’ promises to be a fun-filled event with plenty of opportunities for children and adults to learn more about your local fire station and its Firefighters. Biggleswade Community Fire Station is in Chestnut Avenue, Biggleswade, SG18 0LL

Station Commander, Alan Gayter says “Everyone is welcome and everyone’s invited. Open days are a fantastic family day out and a great opportunity for people to come and find out about their local station and the services we provide to our local community.
