Company News Reporter David Holt reports back from his visit to Taipei
At a time of increased interest in extended reach aerial appliances, the firefighters were kind enough to bring out their 55m ALP onto the station forecourt for photography. It was manufactured by the Italian company Cela and is based on a Mercedes Benz Actros chassis.
On a recent lecture trip to Taipei Liveryman David Holt spotted this sculpture outside Taipei City Fire Station, their equivalent of our “Saved” image. The inscription praises firefighters for their bravery and determination in saving lives and property.
