LONDON FIRE BRIGADE CADET AWARDS
Sara Perez, the Youth Engagement Manager with the London Fire Brigade says “The ongoing support of the WCoFF is extremely important to the London Fire Brigade, and the Brigade’s Fire Cadet programme were extremely honoured to have the attendance of the WCoFF at nearly all of their 10 pass-out ceremonies this year. One young person from each cadet unit was voted for by their peers for making significant progress during the year, and awarded with a ‘Certificate of Achievement’ by the nominated representative of the Company, as well as being given a very generous gift voucher for the Cadet to spend on themselves”.

Fire Cadets is a free, nationally recognised programme offering young people, between the ages of 14 and 17, the opportunity to gain a credible qualification as well as develop their personal skills. In 2016, there will be schemes running in Barking and Dagenham, Bexley, Brent, Croydon, Hackney, Haringey, Havering, Lewisham, Merton, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Westminster.
