Firefighters Memorial Trust
The Firefighters Memorial Trust is pleased to invite members of the WCoFF to their Annual Service of Thanksgiving at the Firefighters Monument  ̳Firefighters Serving Humanity‘ on Sunday 8th May
2011. This annual service is an act of thanksgiving and celebration for the work of the Fire Service and all who have served, are serving or will serve.
If you would like to attend please visit their website at www.firefightersmemorial.co.uk and click on 2011 Monument in the menu side bar. Deadline for reply is Thursday 31st March.
The Service will be conducted by the Revd. Canon Peter Mortimer (Chaplain to the Trust) and will com- mence at 12.00hrs, for a 40 minutes duration.
  Pancake Race
The Company has entered a team to compete in the 7th Inter Livery Pancake Race in Guildhall Yard on Tuesday 8th March at 11.30am.
We aim to field a representative in the four race categories for Master, a Liveryman, a Lady and Novelty (dressed to associate with the Lord Mayor‘s Charity,  ̳Bear Necessities‘ in aid of the Charity, Co- ram).—Watch out for some great photographs in the next edition
  International Firex
16th to 19th May 2011
The Worshipful Company of Firefighters will be attending the International Firex exhibition and conference at the NEC in Birmingham in May
This is the UK‘s largest dedicated fire safety event and over 150 exhibitors will be attending. Again this year, the organisers, UBM (info4fire.com) will be donating a free stand and some of the monies raised at its dinner to our Charitable Trust.
