  THE SALAMANDER November 2021
WHERE DID THEY SERVE?
This group photograph shows London Firefighters at the rear of Lambeth HQ in May 1967. They were preparing for an LFB public display and were to crew two Shand Mason horsedrawn steam pumps
THE RULE OF SIX
and a horsedrawn manual engine. The firefighters had been kitted out with uniforms and helmets of the period. It would be nice to put some names to faces and record where these men served. If you
have any background information on them, or have their current contact details, please email David Holt at dholt@firefighterscompany.org.
Whilst restrictions on the number of people able to meet in restaurants and pubs have been in force Liveryman Robert Howard has arranged a number of informal lunches for Company members, both open air and indoors. The photograph shows the first meal he could arrange inside a restaurant this year, at the Civil Service Club on May 28th. Robert was joined by Frances Blois our Master at the time, PM Bruce Hoad, PM Peter Colwand and Liverymen Mick Rollings and David Holt.
